two designers/ artists with CSR (task 5)
Social responsibility we focus is not only for environment, but also on the humanity area.
Artist should through their work to make people think about the humanity and the social phenomena. It's also a kind of social responsibility.
1. Xu Bing
After the 9.11 incident, the artist Xu Bing in the streets of the city of Manhattan to collect some of the dust，and use the dust to make this work of art: As there is nothing from the first, where dose the dust itself collect. This work of art can cause people to think about the war, peace, life, and causal. It is a peaceful way to warning the terrorist and government no matter who win the war, the ultimate victims are just ordinary people. I think it is a artwork with strong social responsibility.
2. Ai Weiwei
In 2010, Ai Weiwei make a exhibition called: The one hundred million sunflower seeds. In this exhibition, Ai Weiwei use one hundred million handmade ceramic sunflower seeds to put on the floor. He said that these sunflower seeds symbolize the ordinary people. They seems similar, but when you see them carefully, each of them are unique. He want through this way to wake up people's self-consciousness, and tell them don't just follow others. It's also in strong social responsibility.

The role of advertising.
a. Marketing role: advertising plays a big role in marketing the products/ services/ companies. It means that advertising is a way to promote the products/ services/ companies to the potential targets.
b. Economic role: advertising plays a part in the price elasticity of products/ services.
c. Social role: advertising shows the trend in the society is. It can reflect both customers and merchants' need.
d. Communication role: advertising shows the brief information to the customers that what kind of product/ services do they have.
Personally, I think advertising is very helpful to our life, it can make us find the useful information about the product/ services quickly and conveniently.
Over the years, the advertising has changed according to the develop in technology. Few years ago, the advertising are only in the TV, magazine, underground station or shopping mall. Now, we can see the advertising every where, some of them in Facebook, glass curtain wall, or even during the teleplay.
In my opinion, advertising itself is ok, but how and when and how to advertise, it is a problem.
About when to advertise, for example, there are lots of advertising during the video when you watch it, like the virus. At this moment, I don't want to see the advertisement, I just want to watch the video. So it is not a suitable time to do advertisement.
About how to advertise, I think it should be based on the truth. Don't exaggerate the facts, don‘t lie, that will be ok. Firstly, based on the truth, and then, think about how to make the product memorable and famous.

Sustainable design ( task 8)
Sustainable design ( also called environmental design, environmentally sustainable design, environmentally conscious design, etc.) is the philosophy of designing physical objects, the built environment, and services to comply with the principles of social, economic, and ecological sustainability.
In my opinion, designer is a bridge between the customer and product. As a designer, for designing/making the product, we should resolutely resist waste and use more recycled material in our product, and also make our design sustainable. For customers, designer should promote the customer's environmental awareness, and tell them to choose the recycled product.
Honestly, it's necessary to make our design sustainable.
As a designer, firstly, we should consider more in the material, and use recycled material as much as possible. It is a way to make the material reusable. For example, we can use the recycled paper to make the package, and if people throw away the package, the material can still be used to make the notebook or tissue paper.
Secondly, we should make our design reusable. For example, I saw a very smart product last year which is a musical box. The external of the package is just a normal box, but there is a calendar printed inside the package. So when people get this musical box, they will not just open the package and throw it away, the package can be hold for the whole year as a calendar.

packaging design ( task 6)
Nowadays, most packaging designers should consider about the design creatively, practicability, and social responsibility.
Creatively means that the packaging should be unique and beautiful. The packaging should make consumers focus on the product immediately, and motivate the consumers to buy the products.
Practicability means that packaging should be useful for the product. For example, the packaging should be used to protect the product, show the purpose of the product and give a convenient way to use the product. Because that if the design is not smart, it's useless.
Social responsibility of packaging design is more focus on resist waste. Not only resist the product waste but also the packaging material's waste.
For resisting product waste, it's very important in food packaging. For example, normally, 1L coffee is too much to people drink, so capacity for 1L of disposable coffee cup is useless.
For resisting packaging material waste, designers should use recycle material as much as possible.
There are two examples of packaging design I want to share.

It is an food packaging design. About this group of design, I like the coffee packaging most. Because the designer use very simple and convenient way to make the packaging smart and beautiful. And all material can be recycled. The shape of packaging can remain coffee cup very stable when it being moved. And the consumer can also place the napkin, sugar and creamer near the coffee cup. So I think this packaging is very successful.
This also a group of food packaging, but for fast food take-away.
Each of the box has a space to place the tableware. The material of boxes are all can be recycled. And all the tableware are made in of wood. So the tableware can also be recycled, and be used to make paper.

Zaha Hadid （task 2)
Zaha Hadid's architecture is very modern and special, and I have chosen Zaha's Heydar Aliyev Centre in Baku.
The building is looks very modern and clean.

CSR (task 4)
At beginning, there is a sentence said that ' business of business is business.' It means that it has only one responsibility and that is to generate profit for shareholder (while adhering to the law).
But now, business as a system in society, which means business needs to work within broad systems to attain its economic goals in a way that will also benefit the system(society).
As a designer, design is not just a opportunity, but also a kind of responsibility. We have responsibility to the government, customer, stakeholder, and the whole world.
For my personal social responsibilities, there are 3 main points.
1. To be honest. As a designer, we can influence the social opinion, so we should be honest to everyone. We should tell the truth to our boss, customer, and the public. Sometimes the truth is cannot keep everyone satisfied. For example, we make the advertisement for product, the material of the product cannot be recycled, but our boss want us to say the material can be recycled to improve the sells. What should we do? In my opinion, just tell the truth, or say nothing. At least I can't tell a lie to the customer.
2. Do not copy. Design is a kind of creative work. And in design area, it is very difficult to distinguish copy and reference. For designer, copy is nearly equal to theft.
3. Be responsible for the environment. We just have only earth, and the pollution is a serious problem in nowadays society. As a designer, we should use the recycle material in our project as much as possible. Meanwhile, we should tell all the customer about the importance of the environment problem.
